DBA Specialist (C8)

Finite's influential government client is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced DBA SPECIALIST to join their team beginning 1 July 2013 for an initial period of 12 months.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

- Manage SQL databases supplying business systems for an international network;
- Work with the Server team to provision SQL Servers;
- Assist with performance and capacity management of SQL server systems;
- Perform research, development and implementation of IT infrastructure for corporate application deployment;
- Perform SQL server configuration management such as server patching and hardening;
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level ServiceDesk support as required;
- Complete work assigned and follow directions provided by the DBA team leader;
- Follow change management processes for system configuration changes; and
- Provide technical advice to other ISB staff and participate in skills transfer as required and mentor junior staff

CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS A CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE OF AT LEAST NV1 (SECRET).
