DBA Oracle Administrator

Projektbeschreibung
For our client based in Lausanne, we are looking for a DBA Oracle administrator.
Start date: ASAP
Duration: until the end of 2014
You will be responsible for working with database management systems software in order to determine the best possible way to organize and to store data.
DATABASE TASKS
- Install new agent (OEM) with the company standard on new Servers or new application.
- Review/validate "ITIL changes" in order to assess the impact/workload for the monitoring
- Ensure proper usage of Solutions in terms of capacity, skills and endorsement
- Manage the Solutions Support in terms of time/scope coverage
- Coordinate Problem Management Process on Solutions
- Create/update/enhance dashboards
- Analyze wrong behavior and raise & followup ticket to the support team.
- Interact with the Application, DB Oracle, AIX (IBM) or Linux teams in order to create/enhance the monitoring.
- Enhance the existing solution wherever it is possible.
- Give support on the tool to the different teams
- Incident Management L3
- Improve Grid Infrastructure (Oracle 11GR2)
- Ensure some on call duties
SUSTAIN AND IMPROVE MONITORING & TECHNICAL SUPPORT STANDARDS
Create/update or modify technical support L1 procedure Grid
Skills and experience required:
- Degree in Information Technology (HES or University)
- 3 - 5 years experience in IT
- Working experience with a monitoring tool or a Client Server in Java
- Unix Shell Scripting
- Good skill AIX (Unix IBM)
- Good communication skills in English and French
