DBA Lead ( Oracle)

Lead Oracle DBA (10g/ 11g) required for a successful financial organization based in Greater Boston. The role will involve core production tasks as well as setting up back up and disaster recovery plans. There will also be support of an Oracle upgrade from 10g to 11g as well as an EMC to Netapp SAN migration. Key Requirements: Extensive (5+ Yrs) Oracle 10g Experience (11g Desirable) Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle Server software Linux Admin skills Unix Shell scripting Experience of SQL, PL/SQL scripting EMC/Netapp SAN Experience Great Communication Skills The primary function of the role will be the support of development, test, live, standby and disaster recovery databases. There will be plenty of projects to work on within this established team which works with the most updated technology, focusing on Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle Server software.
