Next Ventures is executing a search for a banking client, we are seeking a DB2 DBA consultant.
DBA/DB2 Database Administrator
Our global client is looking for a dynamic Database Administrator with solid DB2 experience on a AS400/iSeries platform. The role will involve Database design and performance tuning, implementation of policies and procedures, Data Table Structure, ODBC Connectivity and SQL Statements.
Database DB2 z/OS. Local DBA works with developers, system administrator at the new development, production launch and management of DB2 applications and ensures that the systems are well designed, has good performance and high availability in production environments. The person will work as a local DBA in creating tables, SQLgranska, support for developers around DB2 etc.
Experience requirements
Banking sector experience is important. Experience as a development or application DBA system/application that uses DB2 z/OS version 9 electricity. 10th Preferably experience of 24. 7 applications and experience in banking applications. DB2, MMR, Endevor, IBM Admin Tool and IBM Data Studio is an example.
Good knowledge of DB2 z/OS version 9 and 10, the SQL language, DB and index design for high performance and availability, Datamodelling, SQL Review, performance analysis
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 3 months (option to extend)
Location: Stockholm
