DBA/Data Architect with Oracle Databases experience wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Degree in data base administration or a similar qualification
- Several years of working experience as an application data base administrator and/or data architect
- Excellent knowledge of change management along with expertise in Oracle database solutions
- Know-How in MS SQL Server will be anadvantage
- LANGUAGES: FLUENT ENGLISH BOTH WRITTEN AND SPOKEN, GERMAN WOULD BE A BIG PLUS
YOUR TASKS:
- Optimizing, sustaining and stabilizing project activities to change the state of the DB design
- Supporting solution architects to outline the data architecture for the company's platform
- Consulting the team with Datamodelling and Query/SQL tuning beside performing troubleshooting activities and analysing performance problems
- Supporting the project to implement new solutions based on best practices and corporate policies
- Administrating the implementations and change management processes of the company's guidelines as well as assisting the 3rd level support team with DB related issues
