SOLID KNOWLEDGE OF:

- AIX OS, Kernel.
- AIX file systems.
- AIX tuning.
- Performing UNIX technical analysis and operational support of AIX and Linux environments.
- Operation and maintenance of the OS including application of patches and upgrades.
- Hardware/OS performance analysis and tuning, enhancements and corrective actions.
- Script development to automate processes and monitor system performance.
- Providing configuration and operation support.
- All phases of environment life cycle to include hardware setup, configuration, capacity planning.
- Interface with the customer at meetings to gather project requirements.
- On call and after hours maintenance support required.
- Support maintenance activities.
- Setting up administrator and service accounts.
- Providing backup recovery.
- Maintaining system documentation.
- Allocating mass storage space.
- Coordinating and installing system wide software at designated sites.
- Effectively interacting with a variety of users.
