DB Architect (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Administration of HANA, ASE and MAXDB
-Backup and recovery of various databases, especially HANA and Sybase
- Troubleshooting
- Building infrastructure into the AWS Cloud
- Development of storage and backup in an enterprise environment

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in HANA, ASE and MAXDB is must; experience with other DBs such as IQ, DB2 and MSSQL is a plus
- Experience with different types of HANA implementation like scale-out, HA and DR
- Hands on experience in storage and backup in an Enterprise organization
- Strong knowledge and experience working on Backup and Restore of different databases, especially HANA and Sybase
- Experience in different types of backup mechanisms like snapshot, backint in HANA, file dump, etc is a must
- Extensive awareness of complex backup architecture
- Very good knowledge in shared filesystems in public cloud
- Experience in DB encryption
- Infrastructure knowledge on public cloud like, Azure, AWS and GCP
- Knowledge on different types of cloud storage in public cloud is a must
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge to adapt and learn quickly in a changing environment
