Datawarehouse Senior Tester

My client, a well established consultancy, is looking for a senior tester for a Datawarehouse project.

You will have to review analysis, prepare test data, prepare and execute tests, this, for complex DWH projects and possibly for the OFSAA programme (re-engineering of a part of the Datawarehouse).

The high level of accountability of the function and the fact that you are dealing with key applications for the company make this role particularly challenging.

You will work within the Shared Delivery Centre Testing division of the Information Technology Services department, where test professionals are being put together to consolidate the testing expertise inside the company.

As a Senior Tester, your main tasks consist in:

- Analyse the Requirements (incl. their acceptance criteria)
- Analyse/comment the Test Strategies in depth
- Review the Analysis documents
- Prepare test requirements, test data, and test scenarios
- Execute test scenarios and document the results (incl. defect management)
- Collaborate closely with the Solution Delivery Teams (software design and delivery)
- Be an ambassador of the Testing at CLIENT, with a high level of quality as main focus.

The client requires that the candidates possess:

- A strong experience in data warehousing projects is a must
- You have a strong experience in SQL
- You are an experienced user of test methodology (TMAP, ISTQB ) and test tools (eg HP Quality Center)
- ETL skills are a plus
- You have coordination skills
- You speak English fluently, with fluent Dutch or French being a plus
- An experience in the banking world is definitely a plus
- An experience in programming and automation is definitely a plus
