WH Software Informatica Consultant - 6-12 months - Switzerland - Zurich

The right candidate will:-

Contribute as a Software Engineer in business relevant enhancements of the DWH implementing Data Mappings. The role involves implementation, testing and deploys load processes and accompanying functionality (eg generator scripts) and helps improving existing concepts.

Skills:

DWH Experience 5 years plus
Good Informatica Powercenter 8.6.1
Conceptual work experience in DWH environment
Oracle PL/SQL
Unix know how 3 years plus (intermediate)
Control-M or similar Jobscheduler tool know how
Knowledge of Tools such as Erwin Data Modeller, Mercury Quality Centre & WinCVS

Nice to have:-

Banking Know How
German language skills

Activities:

Implementing of change requests assigned to the given releases in 2011
Create and carry out unit tests
Develop code (Powercenter, PL/SQL, SQL, DDL, Unix Shell) for the implementation
Bugfixing for IT, PTA and Production
Configuration for file transfer, special setups, Firewalls etc.
Have the jobnet modified for the new request
Create technical design including logical and physical model, taking existing standards into account.
During testing react promptly to bug reports and solve these
Produce software & DDL in a form that can be deployed to test and production environments
Provide initial support for newly deployed changes
Contribute to standards and guidelines that are valid for the central subject databases
Creating Metadata (This is required for running the Informatica Mappings as we use a feature known as "ant" for Generic Staging)
Preparing for Deployments (This involves - placing the developed codes in CVS, creating Packages, ordering Deployments)
