Duration: 3months +

The central data store containing operational and financial data of the holding companies world wide. The DWH Developer takes the lead for ensuring that the data is processed correctly within data warehouse once it's received. You will further improve the DWh to fit its needs. As the DWH Developer you will join a new team within Group IT, working with the newest technologies. By doing this in the right way, our client can continue to improve its services to all relevant stakeholders and be a thought leader in local and international markets.

Main responsibilities in this role

- Optimise the design and implementation of the current DWH.
- Design and develop data structures and data stores that support new functionalities.
- Analyse financial and operational information, understand and clarify reporting content and create meaningful insights.
- Support in technical and functional testing activities.
- Support the continious improvement of the quality measures.
- Create and adjust reports when needed.

Experience

- Have extensive hands on experience with DWH solutions, SQL and reporting tools, in particular Redshift and Talend (or very similar, knock-out).
- Solid Qlikview, Jaspersoft and Java experience is preferred.
- Good foundation in query optimisation.
- Have hands on experience in the analysis or exploitation of data.
- Be proficient in the use of both written and spoken business English.
- Experience within an international work environment is a plus.

Other requirements

- Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
