DATAWAREHOUSE CONSULTANT
RANDSTAD PROFESSIONALS IS ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR A DATAWAREHOUSE CONSULTANT TO JOIN THEIR BANKING CLIENT IN ZURICH, SWITZERLAND.
Our client has a suite of DWH applications where they need a pro-active, customer oriented person with excellent communication skills having DWH background. Our client is looking for a skilled DWH consultant who would be working in very dynamic environment, supporting the project, communicating with involved stakeholders. The aim of the project is DWH application migration and belonging tools.
OUR CLIENT OFFERS:
- An interesting DWH consultant position which deals with numerous applications and requirements
- Being a part of the global Back Office testing services organization
- Supporting IT testing for a Business Intelligence Project team by delivering quality and testing services that include test management, test specification, test reporting, Test Design/Execution
- Close coordination and cooperation with the IT project and business test teams
- Providing hands on test management for the DWH applications.
- Proven experience in following the testing process is essential
- Test Management, Execution, Reporting, Monitoring and Controlling testing as well as coordinating testing
YOU OFFER:
- Solid background with Test Design, Test Execution
- You got excellent experience with DWH architecture and it's functionalities
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Customer focused with an ability to lead meetings with the business, deep understanding of potentially politically difficult situations
- Experience with managing a team
- Attention to detail
- Technology:
o Business Intelligence
o SQL, Unix, Datamarts
o Microsoft Business Intelligence technologies (including Excel & Pivot Tables)
o Quality Center
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
- ISTQB certification preferred
- Fluent English written and spoken, German is a plus
- min. 5 year experience required in IT project management
