Role: Data warehousing Business Analyst/Consultant
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Duration: 3-6 months

Job description:

Contributes as a Senior Business and Requirement Engineer in analysing source systems, describing data (Datamodelling, data specs) and writing business specifications in data warehouses

Skills/experience:

- Banking Business background with clear understanding of business processes and data in one or more areas (eg messaging, credit, trade, financial instruments, etc.)
- Datawarehouse Experience 5 years plus (understanding of Datawarehouse concepts and technologies)
- 5+ years work experience as Business and or Requirement Engineer

TOOL KNOW-HOW:

ClearQuest, RequisitePro, PowerDesigner, HP QualityCenter, Subversion, CVS, Oracle, Powercenter (ETL), Unix, Control M

ACTIVITIES:

- Writing and enhancing data specs, data models and system specs for the Datawarehouse
- Contact with Business Sponsor representatives and data delivery business and IT
- Peer-Reviews
- Model Conceptual and Logical Datawarehouse Data Model
- Plan Business Engineering part of projects and discuss this with IT Project Lead
- Support Implementation phase
