Summary :

Responsible for designing cubes in the data warehouse system to best deliver the requirements of the business. This includes designing, building, testing, scheduling, and deploying extracts from the data sources as well as defining and modeling the data in the DW, building cubes and standard reports for end users.

Key Skills :

* Experience working with Mongo DB essential
* Knowledgeable in SQL and Oracle DB
* Experience of Pentaho DW desirable
* Some experience of Marketing teams or understanding of advertising industry desirable
* Self starter with good time management and ability to work to tight deadlines and timescales
*

Ability to quickly build credible relationships with managers, staff and external customers. Must be a confident communicator with good written and oral communication. The expectation is that you can use the full Microsoft Office suite as well as Internet, Skype etc
Primary responsibilities :

* Plan, create, coordinate, and deploy extracts from sources into the DW
* Facilitate requirements gathering using expert listening skills to meet the immediate and long-term reporting and data analysis needs of business customers.
* Make recommendations based on business requirements as to optimal data architecture and modelling design in the DW
* Create best practices for data loading and extraction.
* Supervise design throughout implementation process.
* Design and build cubes while performing custom scripts.
* Develop and implement ETL routines according to the DWH design and architecture.
* Support the development and validation of extraction routines and business data in the DW
* Help design and implement user access approach and policy.
* Assist in training and mentoring in house DBAs and Business analysts
* Plan and implement Monitoring and maintenance work on the DW to ensure performance and integrity and provide corrective and preventative maintenance as required
