Business Intelligence Developer - Dublin

CPL Solutions currently have an urgent requirement for a Dusiness Intelligence Developer/ETL Developer to work a 6 month contract for a leading financial services client in Dublin.

Key Skills

- Experience in data warehousing and ETL/ELT, experience with spatial data an advantage
- Extensive experience with Datamodelling and star schema design
- Exceptional knowledge of relational databases, ETL tools and SQL. Experience with Big Data and NoSQL is a distinct advantage
- General problem solving mentality. The ability to collaborate with different teams on solutions for a variety of different business, code & data related problems
- Enterprise application development experience. The role requires the ability to deliver scalable, future-proof solutions, work with Legacy code and integrate cross-platform systems
- VLDB and near Real Time DWH experience
- A degree in computer science or a related discipline, such as mathematics or the natural sciences
- Experience of working on Linux/Unix platforms an advantage
- A willingness & ability to pick up new technologies
- Passion and a love of what you do!
- Interest in high-performance computing
- Strong communication skills
