Datastage Expert

We are looking for a senior DataStage expert who can take the lead role in a development team for Datastage project setup, generic DataStage design and implementing best practices in a team of experienced ETL developers (but not DataStage experts).
Best practices should focus on generic logging and error handling, generic design patterns, version control and release management, and implementation of high performance solutions.

Werkzaamheden:

We are looking for a senior DataStage expert who can take the lead role in a development team for Datastage project setup, generic DataStage design and implementing best practices in a team of experienced ETL developers (but not DataStage experts).

Verantwoordelijkheden: Coaching, opzetten van standaards, meebouwen met etl.

Wat moet er worden gerealiseerd?: Neerzetten van goede standaards en een goed product.

FUNCTIE-EISEN
Algemene kennis/ervaring:

MUST HAVE:

1)Expert tool knowledge of DataStage 8.7

2)Extensive experience with the DS setup for large DS projects, setup of ETL Design standards, generic components and job templates in datawarehouse environments

3)Experience with the use of large relational databases (and experience with the tradeoff of executing logic in DS vs the database)

4)Coaching skills.

Technische kennis/ervaring:

SHOULD HAVE:

1)Experience with Balanced Optimization

2)Experience with DS 9.1.

NICE TO HAVE:

1)Knowledge of BDW, Anchor- or Datavault-modelling

2)Knowledge of Netezza.

Competenties:

Coaching, developing, toolarchitect.

Talenkennis:

English and/or Dutch.
