Datastage Engineer/Architect

One of my clients, a major financial firm in Chicago, is looking to bring on a Senior DataStage Engineer. This person will be responsible for the engineering of the shared enterprise DataStage infrastructure that hosts multiple mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate would have engineering experience on enterprise DataStage infrastructure.

Basic responsibilities include:

* Act as the Subject Matter Expert within the DataStage domain
* Engineering of DataStage infrastructure
* Drive the capacity planning process of DataStage infrastructure

Requirements:

* 5 years designing/administering DataStage
* Capacity planning in the shared DataStage environment
* Working with DataStage in Linux/VM
* Supporting DataStage as a shared environment (hosting multiple applications)
* Access control, code migration and monitoring in the shared DataStage environment
* Scripting (Linux)

Preferential experience:
DataStage Grid, WebSphere MQ, QualityStage ETL/BIT tools such as Informatica and Business Objects
