Senior Datastage Developer/Administrator
Location: Brussels
Duration: 3 months renewable
Senior Datastage Developer/Administrator. We are looking for a person that has a proven experience in that technology. The candidate should be able to work independently and be result/problem solving oriented.
The candidate will have to participate in an on call rotation.
Required Skills
Hard Skills
- Proficient in DataStage ETL V8.x, minimum of 6-year experience
- SQL query knowledge (within main contexts of MS-SQL Server 2005/2008 and DB2 v9.x)
- Understanding of data warehousing architectures and data modelling
- Ability to do DataStage development for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETLrelated activities
- Ability to troubleshoot DataStage ETL processes failures or warnings and provide technical support
- Ability to continuously seek out and discover root cause relationships and conclusions that are not always intuitively obvious
- Provide technical ETL knowledge for Business Intelligence requests and/or data integration projects
- Ability to understand and review existing ETL development
- Ability to prepare functional documentation of released jobs
Soft Skills
- Mature, Independent, Team player, motivated, detail-oriented, pro-active
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Language requirement: English, preferably also French
