Datastage Architect

Our direct client has an opening for a DataStage Architect role in Austin, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with the Technical lead/architect to develop ETL architecture.
- Design and develop data quality monitoring, audit process.
- Serve as ETL team lead, provide ETL work estimates and communicate status.
- Assist with upgrade to DataStage 9.1 and administering and developing in 9.1 thereafter.
- Participate in code reviews of fellow ETL developers.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 8 years of experience implementing and administering DataStage.
- 10 years of experience with IBM InfoSphere DataStage development.
- 10 years of experience with Data warehousing and Business Intelligence technologies.
- 8 years of experience with ETL Architecture design, quality/audit control.
- 8 years of experience Unix/AIX, Control-M.
- 8 years of experience as a lead role in one or more data warehousing ETL projects using data stage.
- Strong experience using DataStage ETL tool, develop standard and best practices.
- Strong Unix Scripting skills, able to quickly understand the current ETL state and support it.
- Bachelors' degree in Engineering, Business or Computer field.
