Datastage Architect

B&D is looking for a Datastage Architect for a project of at least 6 months in Brussels.

The Architect will be responsible for the design and implementation of a Datastage Datawarehouse implementation from user requirement gathering to functional analysis to finally implementation and coaching of a team. You need to be the Datastage Expert!

You have a strong technical knowledge of ETL tools in general, data staging techniques, metadata tools, data/dimensional Modelingand data base designs. Works across business/technology teams to ensure alignment between business solutions, definition & systems architecture for the organization.

You have at least 10 years experience of BI implementations, experience with various ETL tools, with at least 3-5 years in IBM DATASTAGE. You need technical architecture experience in the whole BI life cycle from reporting, query, OLAP, ETL.

Experience with most of the following is needed:

- BI Methodology: Kimball, Inmon, Dimensional/Datamodelling, Master Data Management, Data Vault
- Modelling Tools: UML, Erwim, Visio
- ETL Tools Datastage
- Databases: Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, Teradata
- Functional Analysis
- Business requirement gathering
