Datapower Designer

My client, a leading global IT services provider, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Datapower Designer based in Swindon.

Role outputs:
Create a Pattern for a Datapower service to perform XACML validation on Messages that contain SAML tokens

You will ideally create Service designs (approx. 50 services) for each Service that will use the generic pattern. Service Design will specify WSDL, XSD, rules to be used in the validation, any transformation/addition of certificates, and AD checks that are required. These will be passed to an offshore development team to perform build/unit test. You will also contribute to update to common architecture documents that describe:
Logging approach and format for Datapower services
Deployment approach for Datapower Services
Versioning approach for Datapower services (for live and during Dev/test process)
Exception Handling approach for Datapower
Additionally, you will help support architects in understanding complexity of adding other functions to Datapower services (eg signing of messages, holding 3rd party credentials)
Review of Datapower build/unit test artefacts to act as Quality Assurance.
