Datacentre Technician

Datacentre Technician Linux Windows 2008R2 Support Hardware. A Datacentre technician is required for our top Consulting firm client to be based in Dublin. The successful candidate will have the following skills/attributes;

3-5 years server technician experience
Demonstrated strong ownership, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously
Ability to work successfully with geographically dispersed teams
Good written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows 2008R2 operating systems preferred
Ability to identify hardware failures and work within the limits of a defined process to get hardware running or replace entire Servers
Ability to regularly lift and move server systems that weigh up to 70lbs
Attention to detail. Accuracy in inventory, trouble tickets, asset tag updates, wiring plans, etc. is essential to the customer and is critical to this role
