DATACENTRE CONSULTANT

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Datacentre Consultant/Expert to join a leading telecoms vendor. They are looking for someone to act as the technical director for their GOS Datacentre project. This will involve leading the RFP bidding process, capturing customer requirements and communicating them with the technical team. The position is being offered on a contract basis and requires someone with fluent French and English. A competitive daily rate is also available and the role will be located in the Paris area.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead the RFP bidding, acting as the bidding technical director of GOS Datacentre (DC) project.

*Act as the overall technical architect and be technically responsible for the DC project.

* Read the bidding book and understanding the requirements of the customer, communicating them with the technical team in English.

* Presentation and communication of the technical requirements to the customer in Abidjan.

* Responsible for the technical quality of bidding submissions.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

* Previous experience within a Datacentre Consultant/Expert or similar position. Ideally with experience of working within the telecoms industry, but other industry backgrounds will be considered.

* Experience of capturing customer requirements and communicating them with technical teams.

* Competent with presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.

* Fluent French and English.

* The flexibility to travel internationally during key stages of the bidding process.

* Competent with working under pressure and to strict timescales.
