Datacentre Operations and Incident/Change Engineer (24*7) - 40-60K + Bonus

A top tier global Bank is looking to hire a Datacentre Engineer to join its 24*7 Operations and Change Management teams. The team deliver, build and install all of the Bank's hardware across theUKdatacentre estate and therefore this role offers the opportunity to work for a market leader using a variety of leading enterprise technologies.

The role is on a 3 on 3 off shift pattern and requires someone who has strong operational Datacentre experience, ideally within the financial markets/another banking datacentre, however more important that the financial experience is compliance and change knowledge.

The Role is:

* 40% Admin/Change; Change control activity, Managing incidents, managing 24/7 inbox and requests.
* 60% Hands-on function; racking, stacking, cabling hardware and servers - mainly HP

Technology/Hardware Stack:

* HP Hardware/Server knowledge Ideal
* Other Vendors: IBM, Cisco, NetApp, EMC, Sun
* ITIL v3 / ITIL Environment appreciation
* Comptia Server+ desirable.
