DATACENTER OPERATIONS ANALYST - (VMWARE)

LOCATION: Amsterdam, Netherlands

DURATION: 3 to 6 months + Possible Extension

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Looking for Data Center Operations Analyst role with VMware experience.
- Good experience with VMware ESX and Windows 2000/2003
- Good experience with L1/L2 Line Support
- Basic Knowledge of TCP/IP and various Internet Servers such as DNS, Https, NMP, HTTP, FTP etc.
- Good experience with HP management products such as (iLo and insight manager)
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware problems using diagnostics tools
- Understanding of RAID and file system technologies.
- Understanding of basic OS commands/Utilities
- Monitor and support IT systems
- Monitor and support Networks and system connectivity  
- Monitor and support the system Hardware/Infrastructure
- Monitor and support Links & Feeds
- Run daily Housekeeping (Application & System) Job Schedule and find resolutions if job failures occur.
- Respond to queries, in line with agreed processes.
- Resolve problems or involve other support groups as appropriate.
- Help to ensure that the service provided meets the agreed SLAs.
- Support recovery from unplanned outages hardware, software & network related.
- Action System Backup and Restore requirements.
- Maintain Support documentation, scripts, Job Schedules
