Database/Warehouse Specialist

For one of our customers in Oslo we are looking for an experienced Database/warehousespecialist who will have task to structure and complete the data in order to drive automation, and generally to work with data warehousing services.

Responsibilities:

- Assists with the design, implementation, or operation of comprehensive data warehouse systems
- Balances and optimizes data warehouse availability and access concerns with batch loading and online system impact requirements
- Develops data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction
- Maintains and modifies accordingly to plans, test files, and scripts for data warehouse testing
- Creates and maintains system support documentation

Requirements:

- Two years related experience in: Extract, Transform,and Load (ETL) process; System analysis and software support, report writing and interface development, Microsoft SQL Server; Oracle software/PL/SQL, Structured query language SQL; and/or Microsoft SQL Server/Transact SQL
- BS Degree in an IT based discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Scandinavian language is a plus
