Our client organisation is now seeking a Database Specialist to join their team on a Full time basis until the end of 2016. This public sector organisation is seeking a talented individual to aid in the installation and reporting processes on their large database system.
This role involves providing regular reports for management and 3rd party users who require detailed and accurate information in a timely manner. The role requires database server installation and administration in an Oracle environment. Working with other functional departments, the Database Specialist will resolve 2nd level requests to ensure the smooth operation of the database. Information will be accessed through PL/SQL Scripting language.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3+ years of experience with PL/SQL and Cognos within industry. You will be charged with the installation of an Oracle database and its continuous administration. You will be required to produce regular and ad hoc reports for management and 3rd parties in a timely fashion. Previous experience working within a secure environment will be advantageous for this position.
