Database (PL/SQL) Developer

PL/SQL Developer being sought for global retail organisation. Within the Pricing solutions team for Europe, a number of initiatives are being taken to improve the management of Prices. To support these initiatives, a number of software projects are being started. Typically these projects involve complex stored procedures and data validation processes. We are seeking an experienced, creative, qualified, and enthusiastic Database Developer to join a small development team looking at making a name for delivering innovative and quality solutions on time. Development projects within the Pricing Solutions team will be managed using agile concepts based on the Scrum framework. Experience working in a Scrum environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
Data modelling
Design and implementation of complex database stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support system requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases

Qualification/Requirements:
Min. 5 years database development experience
Data Modeling experience
Strong PL/SQL programming experience
Ability to investigate, analyse & resolve system problems of a complex nature
Experienced working within a Scrum environment
Team player with excellent communication skills
You will be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative and organizational skills
