Our client has a requirement for a Data Migration Developer for a 4 Month Contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role
One of the groups within Capital Markets is currently migrating their database stack from Sybase to Netezza for the NVaR application. The group is looking to hire a Netezza Migration Developer for a 4 month contract. The project is already underway and they need an individual with these specific database migration skills to come in and assist with the project.
Requirements or Qualifications
Qualified Candidates will have:
- Experience migrating applications from other databases (ie. Sybase, Oracle, DB2) to Netezza
- 5+ years of C++ experience
- 5+ years of Perl experience
- 5+ years of Unix experience
- Previous financial experience is an asset
- Capital markets knowledge is an asset
- Sybase database knowledge is an asset
