Database Integration Runbook - Cloud Platform

You will be working for a leading healthcare company, and you will be required to integrate the Global Asset Management CMMS development team. The CMMS software product, called iCenter, will be used worldwide and will be delivered as a Saas offering.

The Saas offering will be hosted on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.

Within ServiceNow, you will develop workflows for:

-The provisioning of cloud services in Windows Azure
-The deployment and upgrade of all iCenter Software components on Windows Azure
-The automation of administrative tasks of the virtual Servers and databases (backup, management of log files, deployment of security and software patches)

The workflows will invoke Azure Powershell scripts developed to serve these purposes:

Design & Implement the CMDB data model
Develop CRUD WF activities to manage the CMDB
Develop service catalogue forms used to trigger the various workflows
Develop and test the various workflows that will orchestrate the Azure Powershell scripts (in/out parameters) and maintain the CMDB
Manage the powershell return codes (eg timeouts, errors, parallel processing)
Use ServiceNow MID Servers and Runbook functionality to interact with Powershell and other command line tools (eg SQL, batch, .exe)

The contract will run until the end of the year with a possible extension.
