Database Expert - Daily Rate (DB2 Cobol)

DB2 JOB DESCRIPTION - DUBLIN CITY CENTRE - DAILY RATE (URGENT)
JOB PURPOSE: DB2 Developer with strong analytical and technical ability with 3-4 years of experience in Mainframe DB2COBOL. Able to work independently & good communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Knowledge of physical characteristics of database such as space, partitioning, indexing, triggers, constraints and referential integrity.
- Mainframe experience in coding and implementation of batch DB2programs, stored procedures and user-defined functions as well as experience in system development life cycle.
- Should be familiar with DBA's items: DDL (create and modify DB2objects), DB2 catalog tables and DB2 utilities.
- Knowledge on other RDMS databases like Oracle and Sql server
- Proactive attitude, ability to run projects with minimal direction given the geographically distributed nature of the team
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Experience in Cobol II, DB2, SQL, TSO, JCL, VSAM, FileAid, ChangeMan.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
