Database Developer - SQL - Non-Structured BD - Switzerland

Our client is currently looking for a database developer with experience of working with SQL and unstructured databases. Working from scratch, you will be required to model and structure new databases combining a wide range of technical data for complex data mining queries.
With experience of working with SQL as well as non structured databases, you will select the best technology and decide on how the existing data may best be managed within this new environment to allow fast extraction using machine-learning algorithms and offering future scalability on a big data project.
A hands-on database developer, you will have some architecture experience with the ability to mix and match technology to suit business and performance needs. As well as offering some architecture experience, you will be required to structure and curate the databases offering a vision as to how this structure should continually evolve.
Experience of SQL, unstructured databases such as ArangoDB, MarkLogic, MongoDB within a big data environment is key. You will be working on Linux and Microsoft technologies. An understanding of machine learning, mobile and web applications would be appreciated.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about databases, data mining and big data to build and model a new database structure from project inception.
Due to the urgency of this position, we are only able to consider applications from candidates based in Switzerland or from the EU.
