Database Developer (DBD) - 2/3 year Contract - Brussels

My client is a Government entity seeking a Database Developer to join a development team based in Brussels. The DBD will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of multi-tiers applications; data analysis, Datamodelling; development and maintenance of database stored procedures; database configuration, optimisation and integration with applications.

Essential skills

Minimum of 3 years' experience in one or more of the following: RDBMS (Oracle), DB languages (PL/SQL), DB modelling tools
Good knowledge of application development environments
Knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier web applications
Very good knowledge of English and French
Experience with programming languages (Java and Java/Oracle integration)
In-depth knowledge of XML, XSD, XSLT, XPath and Xliff is required
In-depth knowledge of UML is required; knowledge of RUP is an advantage
Experience in web application development (ColdFusion, JavaScript, frameworks)
Knowledge of Jira is an advantage.
