Database Developer
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Database Developer.
Key Requirements:
- Programming/maintenance of presentation layer of multi-tier applications.
- Design and development of Internet applications.
- User ergonomics.
- Testing of web applications.
- Participate to requirements analysis, prototyping, definition and integration of technological components.
- Design, implementation and maintenance of software components for web-based applications.
- Writing of technical documentation.
- Migration and updates of web applications.
- Participation in meetings with project teams.
- Design and development of component architecture and building blocks.
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
- Data analysis and Datamodelling.
- Assistance in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting.
Key Experience/Skills:
- Excellent knowledge regarding the administration of Jira V 6.3.n/V7.
- Experience in user support.
- Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team.
- Able to use the office automation tools used in (MS Office).
- Knowledge of the following plugins is an asset: Power Actions (former Blitz Actions), Email This Issue, Jira Misc Custom Fields, Jira Suite Utilities, Workflow Enhancer.
- Knowledge of Confluence (Atlassian) is an asset.
- Knowledge of French is an asset.
- Analysis of requirements, drafting of analysis deliverables, UML modelling, and prototyping.
- Java technology and J2EE architectures.
- Java tools and frameworks: Spring, Spring MVC, Hibernate, IntelliJ, Eclipse.
- Web technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript, Angular 2/4, AJAX/SPA (Single Page Applications).
- Web services (REST & SOAP).
- Continuous integration and build environment (Bamboo, Hudson, Maven, or similar).
Desirable Skills:
- Style bundles (eg Twitter Bootstrap, Font Awesome, Angular PrimeNG or similar).
- Node.js.
- RESTful API Modeling (Swagger or RAML).
- Oracle Weblogic.
