Database Developer

We are currently recruiting for a Database Developer for our clients based in Brussels, Belgium for a one year contract with possible extnesion -

Job Description

The tasks that are to be performed include:

Writing of technical documentation.
Assistance with deployment and configuration of the Database.
Participation in meetings with project teams.
Assistance in the testing, the deployment and the reporting.
Production of technical documentation (ie architecture documents, components/building blocks related documents, etc.).
Contribution in the design and implementation of database layer of multi-tears applications.
Data analysis, Datamodelling.
Contribution to definition and integration of database components .
Assistance in database integration with applications.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS .

Excellent knowledge and proven professional experience of application development environments.
In-depth knowledge of relational database systems.
In depth knowledge of SQL .
Good knowledge of modelling database tools.
Knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier web applications.
Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.
Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid selfstarting capability and experience in working in team.
Fluent in English, knowledge of French is an asset

Job Requirements

Very good knowledge and professional experience of Oracle RDBMS.
Good knowledge of Incident Management tools (JIRA) 5.
