Database Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with implementing innovative solutions to complex data management, analytics and reporting challenges.
- Validating design as well as developing, testing, tuning, & supporting high-volume, high-availability relational databases supporting both operational as well as analytical and reporting requirements and optimizations.

REQUIRED SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Minimum 5+ years of Enterprise-class, high-volume, high availability transactional database architecture and development experience.
- Must have strong knowledge of BOTH SQL Server (2005/2008/2012) and Oracle 11g+.
- Proven experience designing and working with advanced data architectures, designing and building relational databases.
- Strong database programming skills (MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, AS/400) including advanced TSQL and PL/SQL, stored procedures, SSIS, advanced report generation and database/query performance tuning

DESIRED SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Experience in retail, distribution and supply chain domains is desired.
