SKILLS:- Oracle, MSSQL Administration
ITIL & Oracle Certified Database Administrator or MS SQL certification is required.
Extensive experience in installing, configuring and tuning Oracle 8i, 9i, 10g,11.
5 years experience Oracle DBA, preferably with experience of configuring and tuning.
Ability to perform PL/SQL coding including areas of functionality and performance.
Exp of supporting various databases in a large env or within a financial/investment env.
Experience with Oracle, Sybase IQ, MS SQL Server administration.
At least 5 years exp working as a DBA in a large env.
Experience in proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of Database Systems.
An understanding of incident management within IT infrastructure organization.
A positive attitude, excellent customer-facing skills and a pleasant telephone manner.
Must possess strong analytical skills as well as follow-up and organizational skills.
Experience in Incident management, Release management, Change management, Problem management as per ITIL framework
Flexibility to work on ROTA
