Database Administrator - SQL & DB 2 - Switzerland

For our client, an international provider of supply chain solutions inBASEL , we are looking for a DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR - SQL & DB 2

3 MONTHS CONTRACT (ASAP) - OPTION OF EXTENSION

TASKS:

- Perform Database Administration within our main Datacenters
- Define Database Architecture and Design
- Manage Database Change and release Management
- Participation in IT Projects
- Conduct monitoring, DR and Performance Test of critical IT services
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support

REQUIREMENTS:

- Completed degree in information technology
- At least 3 - 5 years' experience in Database Administration
- Database certification beneficial
- Experience with high availability solutions
- Founded Knowledge in server technology
- Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft databases and related solutions (SQL, MS Cluster, etc.)
- Deep knowledge and experience with IBM databases and related solutions (Informix, DB2, HADR, etc.)
- Good knowledge and experience with backup/restore technologies (IBM TSM)
- Good knowledge in server and OS (Wintel, AIX, Linux)
- Know-how in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Experience in an international environment
- Good project management and organizational skills
- Result-driven and reliable team player
- Flexibility for exceptional workloads and weekend interventions
- English, written and spoken
