Database Administrator Microsoft SQL

Experienced Database Administrator required for a reputable global financial services firm for their head offices inBoston. The role will require a DBA with experience and skills in SQL Server up to version SQL 2008 R2 and will involve 60% production support/ administration and 40% project related work which may involve using tools such as SSIS. The technical environment is very challenging due to the volume of data as well as the nature of the business being mission critical so experience in a changing/ adaptable environment is beneficial. Key skills/ Experience include: 3+ Years SQL Server Database Administration Experience SQL 2000/ 2005/ 2008 R2 Disaster Recovery High Availability: Clusters/ Replication/ Log Shipping/ Mirroring Enterpriseenvironment experience Due to the size and nature of the business, the role can offer multiple opportunities, which include learning other technical disciplines so is a good fit for someone with a passion to develop technically.
