MY DUTIES:

-In the course of the project, the applications needs to undergo a transition to new IT platforms (e.g. new Active Directory, new Exchange server landscape, Win10 upgrade, new authentication and authorization process)
-Work closely with Developers and Infrastructure Teams to ensure that the very critical highly available database environment can be connected to a new Active Directory without any significant outage
-You will analyse the current database environment on premise and in cloud and establish a migration strategy together with an internal database team
-You will work out detailed migration plans for each applications to be able to migrate to new domain
-You will implement necessary database configuration and Grid infrastructure changes (e.g. for RAC environment)
-You will help create test plans for these migration activities and support the automated roll out of a new Oracle Client version
-You will assist developers/application owners on their migration journey with a standardized migration approach developed in the Service Engineering Team

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Good know-how regarding Oracle (11.2, 12.2, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN. Grid Infrastructure…)
-PL/SQL and Shell scripting experience
-Knowledge about TOAD, SQL Developer, Enterprise Manager
-Experience with Oracle Client 12.2., Oracle Cloud Control and Oracle Database tuning
-Experience with backup and recovery measurements
-Experience with Cloud Database solutions (e.g. Oracle RDS)
-Familiarity with different operational systems like Solaris, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Suse Linux Enterprise
-Experience in data centre migration projects
