Projektbeschreibung
*For the Migration of the application base from the current Nato Hq to the new Nato HQ we are looking for an experienced SQLSERVER and Oracle Database administrator to support the application migration from the underlying database perspective.
*It will involve SQL Server installations from scratch, recovery of existing database instances on new Servers/domains.
*Some of the migrations will involve an implicit database version upgrade.
*Some of the SQL Server installations will be hosted on Microsoft Active Passive clusters.
*For a period of 15 months, starting 01 Feb 2016
Required Skills
*Experience in resolving issues related to ADMT supported AD-migration in relation to SQL DB migration
*Expert knowledge of SQL server 2008 and 2012.
*Expert knowledge of Oracle Database 9, 10 and 11
*A proven history of Database server migrations from existing domain to new "greenfield" domain
*Good knowledge of Windows technology such as Windows 2008/2012 and Active Directory
*Technically strong engineering skills, adaptive to customer needs and being able to work in a team
*Analytical thinking.
*Experience with SQLSERVER deployments on Microsoft Active Passive clusters.
*Experience with virtual server technologies (at least both VMware and Hypervisor)
*Knowledge of Linux Operating System
Task:
*Work directly with clients on Application migrations with a focus on Database migration to a new domain
