Database Administrator

Database Administrator opportunity arises for long term contract with global brand name. Working on a variety of platforms you will be an experienced DBA and keen to secure a long term contract with a FTSE 100.

The ideal candidate will have experience with, or wish to gain knowledge of:
Oracle administration 10g/11g/12c
Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008/2008R2/2012
IBM DB2 V9/10 administration
Good linux and/or unix experience

Nice to have skills:
Oracle RAC Adminstration 11g
Oracle Weblogic and Application Server administration
Sybase and MySQL
RMAN and TSM knowledge
BMC Control-M scheduler experience
DR planning, preparation and execution for successful tests
Quality improvement
ITIL conform
Team player
