Data Warehousing - SQL Server Analysis Developer - 6 Month Contract

A great opportunity for multiple Data Warehousing SQL Server Analysis Developers to join a Government Department for 6 months.

- BASE LINE SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED

The successful candidates will have proven skills and experience in SQL Server Analysis Services Cube development and security, together with a background in problem solving, communication skills, including documentation and strong Change Management techniques.

- Have excellent analysis and problem solving skills, show initiative and be outcome focused.
- Be able to build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders, be an effective team player and make positive contributions.
- Be familiar with Change Management techniques and processes;
- Be able to translate requirements into a working SQL Server Analysis Services Cube based on data held in a star schema with appropriate security, including to row level;
- Be able to utilise a database test bed such that the resulting SQL Server Analysis Services Cube can be tested using a specific data test bed;
- Be familiar with relational databases and understand data relationships in a complex environment, specifically SQL Server 2008R2;
- Have strong communication skills, both oral and written; and
- Have excellent attention to detail.
