Data Warehousing specialist required
- 3-5 years Datawarehouse
- 3-5 years MS Windows server 2008
- 1-3 years SAS
- 3-5 years SQL server
- 1-3 years Cognos
- 1-3 years Netezza
- 1-3 years Qlikview
You will sit within my client's BI operation as an application technician to handle the operational parts of the delivery. Datawarehouse is an exciting andd challenging area of the business since its platforms are very important.
As such you will be working on the following Application operation of the Datawarehouse:
- Monitoring of SW, HW and file flows
- Error handling
- Installation
- Maintenance - Upgrades, Patching
- Deployment
- Maintenance of system documentation
- You will be working according to the incident process (ITIL) and change process (ITIL)
- Continually improve the application operation tasks
Skills and qualifications required:
- MS Windows server 2008, SQL, Qlikview, Netezza, Cognos, Informatica knowledge and Datawarehouse solutions, HP Service Manager
Desired:
- Experience in application operation of business critical systems in an enterprise environment with high availability requirements.
This is for an immediate start with Interviews taking place this week.
