DATA WAREHOUSE TECHNICAL ANALYST (COBOL) - BRUSSELS - 6 MONTHS
For a large insurance provider in Brussels, Belgium we are urgently seeking a Data Warehouse Technical Analyst. You are fluent in English as well as Dutch OR French. You can start immediately for a 6 month contract that can get extended thereafter.
The context of the project is to develop and extend a DWH (based on SAS), the IT/EB Service of our client is looking for an experienced technical analyst with good knowledge of Mainframe and Cobol Technologies.
You and your team will work closely with the business in your day-to-day activities, capture the requirements for data analysis, describe and model data, design the solution to have a good fit with the requirements, set up the solution basis for data analysis and support the business during their analysis.
Your role:
- Translate business requirements into technical analysis documents
- Design and maintain the enterprise data model according to the enterprise architecture principles of the client
- Support and collaborate with the off-shore development team for the successful implementation of the required reports
- Prepare & execute the necessary test cases based on the requirements to meet the expected quality
- Ensure the follow up of day-to-day processes (monitoring)
- Assisting the project manager for project planning and follow up
- Designing the different data patrimonies and keep it coherent in time
- Ensuring the respect of the clients functional and technical design standards
You have experience in DWH analysis, have advanced analysis capabilities and any knowledge of ERWIN, BOBOL or SAS Data Integration will be considered a huge plus.
