Data Warehouse Support Engineer/London/Contract/up to £450/6 Months

Progressive is currently looking for a Data ware house Support Engineer on a contract basis. The Data Warehouse Support Engineer will provide support for Data Warehouse Customers. They will be responsible for handling customer tickets, troubleshooting issues and tracking support metrics; monitoring and tracking data quality issues; assessing the issues and identifying opportunities for support improvement; working with different teams to create custom trainings for the user community and reduce the support burden; and creating knowledge base to help end users to get online support.

Essential requirements:
- Strong SQL and DB2 - Strong traditional ETL knowledge
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum delivery team environment
- Intermediate level in Ticket handling tools like JIRA, Express
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Experience with data warehouse industry ETL tools is highly desirable; BO, Informatica Powercenter experience preferred, Data Stage or Ab Initio or Tableau is acceptable
- Have strong Data warehouse knowledge
- Strong Query writing, analysis experience is required
