Data Warehouse Migration Consultant - West Yorkshire - 3 months 

We require a contractor to handle the migration of a Data Warehouse environment from an Oracle to a Greenplum database. The ETL process for the current environment consists mostly of Windows Batch Scripts and PERL scripts, and the client plans to replace this entirely with an ETL process using Pentaho Data Integration. My client needs someone with data warehousing skills who knows how to rationalise unnecessary tables, jobs and processes from the old environment, and who can implement a new structure and design which is suitable for Greenplum databases.

The client has a in-house team with these skills, but they are currently busy with BAU and other projects, so they require someone to work full time on this migration. Start date could is looking likely to be July/August.
