Data Warehouse Developer | SQL | PL/SQL | Kimball | London

Data warehouse Developer with proven experience of development in SQL and PL/SQL urgently needed for a 12 month contract based in London.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

- Data warehouse Development using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Data warehouse modelling with Kimball's Data Warehouse methodology.
- Experience and exposure to very large date bases (100 million row plus)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Monitoring the production data warehouse systems and addressing any issues that arise so as to ensure SLAs are met.
- Resolving Service Requests that are raised to the DWH team.
- Liaising with end users to determine and agree requirements for new DWH functionality and or data sets.
-Estimating DWH design and development effort based on requirements, design documentation, and program specifications.
-Designing and building DWH solutions to meet business requirements adhering to development standards.
-Testing DWH solutions as required to ensure that requirements are satisfied and results are accurate.
-Producing detailed technical design and operational documentation associated with DWH design and development activities.
- Determining and suggesting process improvements to improve end user satisfaction with the DWH services.
