DATA WAREHOUSE DEVELOPER, CONTRACT, DUBLIN
Excellent contract opportunity with one of Ireland's largest indigenous companies!
Vantage Resources have a requirement for a Data Warehouse Developer to work on a large and complex enterprise level database system.
You will work in a team of experienced Data Warehouse developers utilizing Teradata RDBMS expertise coupled with IBM OS/390 skills. The role requires a strong balance of technical and business focus.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:
6 years + experience in Teradata RDBMS. Other RDBMS is an alternative option.
Detailed SQL experience is required
Experience in IBM OS/390
Must be fully competent in interpreting requirements and designing, unit testing and developing robust information solutions.
Solid experience of analysing, understanding and manipulating data.
Must have comprehensive expertise in software development life cycle.
Delivery focused whilst maintaining quality solutions and data integrity
Understanding of OLAP would be beneficial preferably Hyperion Essbase
Resourceful, self starter, strong team player and excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask on concurrent projects.
