Junior Database Developer - Banking Manchester A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a data warehouse developer leading retail bank based inManchesterin the North West of England. This Data Warehouse team are responsible for maintaining and processing the entire banks retail banking data. This team deal with extremely high volumes of complex, high risk banking data and work with a number of business critical servers and databases. They are looking for a number of junior data warehouse developers to join this flourishing team. The team work on a Teradata database platform and would provide full training on this technology and their wider environment. They offer excellent career development, and would want to fast track these individuals to become subject matter experts in the Teradata platform. To be considered for this role you must have either of the following two skills sets; A) Teradata experience either as a DBA, Developer or Analyst with the right attitude to become a fully fledged Teradata Developer. Have excellent communication skills and a good educational background. B) Experience as a Data Warehouse Developer on a similar platform (Oracle, SQL Server) have experience working within banking, have a theoretical knowledge of Teradata and want to cross train in Teradata to become an SME.
