POSITION DETAILS
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for a Data Warehouse Developer to join one of our client's growing teams in Plano, TX. This position will conduct analysis and develop data extracts from a variety of source systems into the data warehouse. You will be responsible for development of summarization and reporting processes from detailed data in the data warehouse. This is a leadership role in directing production support & development responsibilities for more junior personnel. You will be able to recommend new database processes and designs to improve database production and to meet service level agreements and be responsible for architecture of the data warehouse.

You must be an expert with PL/SQL, SQL tuning, operating from the UNIX command line, and performance tuning with both Oracle and Informatica. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multi-terabyte data warehouses and complex mappings that process 100+ million records per day (preferred, not required). You should have strong end user management skills, ability to flesh out detailed requirements from vauge initial descriptions.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
6+ years of experience in the following skill sets
-Data Warehouse Development - Experience in a multi-terabyte sized data warehouse
-Must be an expert in Oracle, Informatica (7.x), SQL, Shell Scripting, and UNIX.
-Informatica/Powercenter/Powersmart ETL tools
-SQL/PL/SQL Development - Must be able to script SQL and PL/SQL from scratch
-Oracle 9i, 10i Databases
